By: Mark O’NeillMark O’Neil, a former member of the UK Cabinet, has just published a new book about the future of education.
His new book, The Future of Education: A Global Agenda, takes us beyond the traditional paradigm of the nation-state and explores the global implications of the new technologies we are creating, and the opportunities they bring.
The book is titled The Future Of Education: Global Agenda and examines the potential of a global network of education platforms, the impact of these technologies and the challenge they pose for the UK.
“Education is a global issue, and it is imperative that we do everything we can to ensure that it is not left behind as technology advances,” says Mark.
“Our new book looks at how we can ensure the future for the future, but in so doing, it also looks at what our own future may look like, and what that may mean for the wider world.”
This book is part of a larger global conversation, with an international focus, that is centred on the United States, Europe and China.
It looks at the future as we see it, not as we might like to see it.
“It has the potential to be a game changer for education and we’re looking forward to reading it in a future edition of the Next Big Frontier series.”
The book will be available on the bookseller’s website from tomorrow and will be published in full on Tuesday, November 16.
“The Future of Schools: A New Paradigm, Global Agenda”, is available to pre-order at the bookshop here.
