C&Ts publishing house, C&t Publishing, has been acquired by the Singaporean company C&TS International.
The sale of the publishing house comes after C&ts had a “tremendous” growth in the year to June.
“The acquisition is another milestone for C&ton’s continued leadership in publishing in the global digital economy,” C&TC president and CEO Chris Richey said.
“It is also another example of the strong and growing partnership we have developed with C&TW in the last few years, including our recent collaboration with Citi and the launch of the new C&TON Business Library.”
We are very excited about our partnership with CTS International and look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship with our global network of customers and partners.
“C&T Publishing is the only Australian publisher to have its own online marketplace.
The acquisition follows the acquisition of The Australian, which will now become C&Tan Publishing’s sole publishing arm.”
C&ts Publishing will continue to publish high quality, award-winning and award-winners and we look forward of continuing to build on our momentum,” Mr Richeys said.
The company will retain a majority stake in its digital business, and retain ownership of the C&tons global business.
C&TS is one of the largest publishers in the world with over 2,000 titles on its website and in print.
Its portfolio includes titles such as the best-selling children’s book, the hit novel, The Bestseller’s Guide to Australia, and the bestseller best-seller list.
