i’m sitting at the edge of the pacific ocean, looking east, feeling small, and i just hit the ‘go public’ button to launch the first issue of pressure gauge, a literary journal of poetry and poetic prose. there is so much i feel like i should say but right now the ocean is very big, my daughter is behind me waving red ribbons in the air and it’s just so pretty.
i’ve never written an editorial for a literary journal before. i’ve never launched a literary journal before. i think that none of us really know how to live the lives we are living. but we’re all trying. real hard. trying real hard to say what we mean to say.
pressure gauge is a literary journal. it’s beautiful writing. it’s a way to make sense of being alive. like a fistful of red ribbons. waving.
we hope you love it- click here to see.
